SELF-CLEANING GLASS
Self-cleaning glass is made by applying a photocatalytic nanometer layer on the glass surface by online CVD technology. The layer may keep the glass clean and reduce the manual cleaning as well as lower the glass cleaning cost by using the ultraviolet rays and flushing of rain water. The coating firmly combines with glass so that the self-cleaning glass has the same useful life as clear glass. The active O2 and OH generated by the light are not only able to degrade organic compound, but also have very strong bacteric killing and restricting ability. Yaohua self-cleaning glass is able to kill coliform and white bead fungus and restrain the golden yellow staphylococcus and green suppuration bacillus under normal indoor lighting condition. Heat treatment such as tempering, heat bending and laminating has almost no influence on the self-cleaning function of Yaohua self-cleaning glass.
